The project offers the opportunity to purchase a range of authentic produce from other RAFAEL regions. Trade links are being developed between authentic producer groups and other food businesses. The Soil Association are leading on this exciting activity in partnership with the RAFAEL partners.

Because of the wide climatic diversity and the distinctive authentic products that reflect the RAFAEL regions, there is a good opportunity for some goods to be purchased by consumers in regions that cannot produce such goods. For example, Portuguese wine and walnuts to the UK and France; Welsh lamb to France and Spain; Devon cider to Spain and Portugal; Speciality dairy products from Northern Ireland to Spain; Quality Spanish grapes and olive oil and to the UK.
